Laura Dart

The CS crew has been busy preparing for some big changes so we have gotten a bit behind in our blogging. To make up for it we would like to introduce you to one of our favorite photographers- and our artist of the week- Laura Dart. An Illinois native in her twenties, Laura has already assembled an impressive porfolio of beautiful and whimsical images. We love her use of muted colors, simple surroundings, and vintage props. Her photos are extraordinary and we expect great things in her future. Here are a small selection of her photos, but we’d recommend visiting her website at dartphotographie.net!

For more information about her work she can be reached via email.

Bree Morton

Meet Bree Morton, our Artist of the Week!

Bree is an 18 year-old from Los Angeles who remembers drawing ever since she could hold a pencil. Most of her work is with pastel and graphite but she is beginning to work more with oils. Her portrait work is rather remarkable in that the pieces are beautiful yet strongly convey a underlying melancholy. She enjoys the process of giving her characters faces and personalities. We hope to see more in the near future!

If you’d like to buy one of her pieces, or commission some work, send her an email or go to her Myspace!
